We offer affordable pianos. They usually range from $450.00, on up to grands in the $2000.00 to $6,000.00 range. All of our pianos are brought to their optimal level of condition. After purchase, we deliver them and check them out to see if they need tuning, this usually is included in the price. We put a warranty on the piano for several months, and if anything comes up, we will come out and repair it, free. You will need to have your piano tuned at least once a year.
A spinet piano stands 36 inches tall. You will need to plan about four feet of space from the wall to the edge of the bench when it's pulled out. A console stands forty inches off the ground, it has longer strings than a spinet, but still a nice size for most rooms. Studio pianos are higher than consoles and produce a nice sound, again the strings are longer. Uprights, usually antique style, are the tallest vertical piano standing up to fifty-six inches high. Some of them can be a hundred years old, they are nice historical piece and can be a nice working instrument. We recommend you have these pianos checked out before purchase. They often need maintenance work. Grand pianos are beautiful and usually throw the largest sound. You will need room enough for the length of the piano, plus two feet for the bench. Petite pianos are under five feet, baby grands are five feet, grands can be very long.
